Hi, my name is

Selim Hocaoğlu.

Backend Developer.

Currently in my final year of Computer Engineering at Bahçeşehir University, I have hands-on experience building backend systems with Java and Spring Boot. I enjoy solving complex problems and creating efficient, scalable solutions.

About Me

My name is Selim and I enjoy working with backend systems. With over 1.5 years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development, I've built scalable REST APIs and worked with microservices architecture in production environments.

During my journey, I've gained solid experience in database design and optimization, containerization with Docker, and implementing modern backend patterns. I'm passionate about continuous learning and always eager to explore new technologies and frameworks that can improve system performance and maintainability.

I recently completed several professional development programs including in Stanford's Code in Place program, which further strengthened my problem-solving skills.

Here are a few technologies I've been working with recently:

  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • PostgreSQL
  • Docker
  • Git
  • Python
  • C++
  • REST APIs
